Not really. I am me right now, but I am not the same person, not even remotely who I was eight years ago. All those cells are already gone, dead, and I have been renewed. So is everyone else.

In my experience, there's not much you can do. You can go to a therapist or just wait for it to fade out.

One time, happens with me some times recently too, I was paranoid about numbers. I saw that they repeated a lot in similar patterns in every thing I saw.
Crazy thing is, there's only 10 digits possible, so it's pretty obvious that coincidences would happen.

I love this type of thing! And yeah... it is creepy as frick!
And huh. That's really interesting. I wonder what triggered that: was it due to an outside stimulus, or did it arise wholly regardless of outside influences. That must have been really rough! You poor thing!
