Never heard of either of them.
its more well known for webtoon/manwha readers really. ORV is pretty ok to decent but has so much fujobaiting it's unreal. Gotta respect the hustle because fujos are DEDICATED. TBATE is just your average isekai powerfantasy written by a royal road user that got a good webtoon adaptation. The start is literally a copypaste of mushoku tensei minus the character development it was literally hard carried by the artist.

he could have told his parents that sometimes he was getting memories of a past life and that they slowly made him remember that he was someone else before, instead of just outright saying "actually i'm not your son, despite being your son" because that's the most retarded thing i've seen
Nah fam, I think the author and MC dude was like "I can't lie, I am a good king in my past life."

... I know that he knew it was a bad idea, but he was like "truth triumphs all."

Brew it was written by tapas author. And if you think the starting is copied by mushoku shit then you should know there are thousands of light novel rubbing this starting and making your character look a bit knowledgeable and ahead of the people isn't even something so complex I mean when I start watching anime(6 years ago) I also thought about this idea. Mushoku tensei's mc is just a nigga who runs before s*x and all and meanwhile our boy arthur is the real definition of kigma.(kid sigma). I mean what is mushoku tensei huh?
Bunch of girls + sus moments + basic isekai elements + a bit powerful mc + an asshole mc + overpowered shit = mushoku tensei. Mushoku tensei's author needs to learn something from tbate's author not the opposite?

He's turtleme. He started at tapas though
According to tapas he joined them jan 2017, he had already put the story up on Wattpad, RRL and Goodreads (possibly more places) a year before that.

Your majesty, how come?

Wait, are we talking about the novels or the visualized versions of them?
I was talking about the visualized ones but I feel like people were referring to the novels...

maybe the best investment we can do to popularize our novels is actually just spending thousands on a godly artist to produce weekly webtoon chapters lol

Yeah, agreeable.

ORV and TBATE as manhwas are pretty good actually.

I, along with lots of folks in my country, enjoyed the two so much. Why? Because one, the art is so damn good. Two, the story is quite engaging. And the least important but very impactful one is the translation. We read those two in Shinigami, and other websites decided to mirror it without permission. The translator did a great job IMO because they captured the meaning of the dialogue and turned it into words that are less complicated and easier to understand.

Besides, they usually left some memes on every end page of the works they translated. Here's an example:

Both are amalgamations of "didn't I read this exact novel before?". One is typical korean system stuff, the other is generic fusion fantasy isekai
