I'm not sure if I should delete the original story of this story I made or I should keep it, everytime I look at it it makes me wanna chuck it out the window.

It was back in um middle school and I can't count how many mistakes and errors that story had. Practically then I was too lazy to edit it.
And now I just feel disgusted with myself for making a cringe story.

We cannot answer; ultimate choice is yours. Every writer must decide on their own. Whether they want to organize and keep the good achievements only, sweeping everything else embarrassing under the rug, or bury a time capsule to unearth later, that while cringey, is something interesting to look back too.

We all have to start somewhere. I think you should take it down but don't chuck it. Let it sit for a bit and then come back and read it again. You might see a lot of value in it.

the original? so there are other versions? delete it then. It'll be like it never existed at all....
Tho, i cant really imagine the plight of the common author. All my stories have been straight fire since day one.

Well, humble bragging aside, i mean more of I'm content with them overall. The grammar, at least, is decent and the pacing is fine. Other than being a bit info-heaving at times, i don't feel bad about them.

See it as anti-example. You will never be able to recreate the same level of cringe. In a few years you will be able to laugh about it.

That can be hard, BUT I think he might be able to cannibalize a lot of plot points and/or characters and make new books.

Just delete it. I delete all my cringe except some on RR.

I keep my first story in the deepest part of my cupboard, covered by some wrapping and buried in a box.
I didn't throw it away, but I think it's the closest thing to it. Still keeping it because of the good memories I had while writing it.
