someone close to me got cheated on in a big way. It was very rough for a while on that person, but he decided to stay with his partner. Over the years, ive watched him turn from a vibrant, strong man into a weak sad half-version of himself. Nothing destroys a mans life/self-esteem/confidence like that kind of betrayal. They are still together, and they are both miserable. I dont think the man ever truly recovered, he put too much of himself into his family.

Cheating destroys lives. It destroys couples, friendships, and even children. Im not proud to admit that ive been with other mens women, destroying a relationship gives one a very special, long lasting guilt (if you have a soul)

Best advice for a person in real life NTR protagonist shoes, is to just walk away, that relationship is 1000% over. There is never any fix for that kind of betrayal, male or female. Even if you forgive a partner for cheating on you, and try to salvage the relationship, it will still be over. They will never respect you like you need, and youll never trust them the same way again.

Who said it had to be porn? There is non-porn NTR. Any story where the fiancé/wife/loved one wants to dissolve a marriage pact is NTR. Hell, there's lots of NTR in cultivation novels where the MC is ditched by his fiancé and comes back for revenge and honor later.

I tried to find the statistics for female killers, but i could only find a few crappy articles that didnt list their source.

It always bothered me that NTR stories never show the often bloody outcomes of these stories.

I used to think that cheaters should be murdered, but after i got older, i realized that its one of the most pathetic things a man can do.
Its essentially saying that they cant move on, that they will throw their life away and go to jail for this person.

So I've been doing some research into NTR, since whether we like it or not, it's a genre that's exploded in the 'hidden' spaces of the internet that we don't talk about to people in normal conversation.

I discovered that there were sub genres of NTR.

First some terms:

Netorare - Commonly known as having someone you love stolen whether it's known or not (people hate this so much). Usually happens to the main character. This is what the majority of people think about when they think about NTR.

Netori - The main character is the one doing the stealing. This actually happens a lot in harem mangas where the villain is in love with someone and the main character steals them away because the girl hates the villain for whatever reason. Lol, it's funny because people hate Netorare when it happens to the main character but are happy when the MC is doing it.

Personally, I find it funny how people are willing to read Netorare as long as it's the main character and person they identify with doing the stealing. No one thinks about the villain.

Then of course is Netorase, where the one of the characters gets turned or enjoys on seeing their loved one getting it on with other people. It is under the netorare sub genre but doesn't exactly fall under it since often it's the female character doing it only because she loves the male character. It's odd as hell, but also kind of hilarious.

It turns out I was writing a netorase all along when I was posting smut on here, except it's the female that wants to see the male lead do it with other girls.
Which is probably why a lot of people didn't enjoy it.
