A person who plays a game like GTA V gets transported in another world or the game world with all his stats/titles bonus's.
He becomes a kingpin or something right at the start for the game world.
For the another world, he would start in modern day and he's goal is to become the most influential person in the underworld
Not an author though since I'm too lazy

Another idea for the game world, he starts in the game world but he is using another account and since he's in the game world he knows what to do/who are the main characters are for the plot. You could add a butterfly effect with completely unknown characters showing up or characters being added because of the plotholes in the game or seemly unimportant characters be in the main spotlight/main cause of a situation
