Resolved Not getting alerts for watched threads

Lately, I haven't been getting alerts for threads that I've watched. One example being https://forum.scribblehub.com/threads/your-legacy.123/page-9#post-7186. I still got alerts for profile posts but not for watched threads.

I didn't change anything, still all the same.

I don't have much experience with watched threads and even if it was bugged, it's not something I should fix. That would be Xenforo's problem. Hopefully they will fix it in the next release!

If it's not bugged, maybe @Raneday or @Arcturus might be able to help you. I think they use that feature often on NUF as they've talked about it before I think.

So you only get an alert for a watched thread the first time it updates. It won't ever alert you again, even if the thread continues to update. Also, it won't update you if you don't read to the very last new post in that thread as well. So you can go back to the thread and read several pages of posts, but if you don't read up to the last page of posts, you won't get alerted for any updates.

If you want to check if you are up to date with a thread you've watched you can check here:

forum.scribblehub.com/watched/threads

If it's bold, you're not up to date and won't get another alert until you are.

Also, something really annoying with the new forum is that you have to use the menu to get to watched threads. On NUF, there's a convenient link at the top of the page.
