I guess. But, I'm not doing any art. That is just the result of my boredom in class. No it isn't. You just need to develop your skills more.
Most people think AI art is less time consuming to generate and more pleasing to the eyes. How come so little Stories use handdrawn art? Am I the only person that likes that style?
Transitioning from traditional drawing in paper into using Pen-tablet is very hard and time consuming due to hand-to-eye coordination as you're drawing without looking at your hand.I suck at drawing lineart using graphic pen tablet, that's why.
Ah true! Though, nowadays, I'm quite used to the eye-hand coordination required in using pen tabs, I'm still not confident of my digital lineart skills. ?Transitioning from traditional drawing in paper into using Pen-tablet is very hard and time consuming due to hand-to-eye coordination as you're drawing without looking at your hand.
The reason people do such a hard transitioning is due to how expensive display tablet was, due to Wacom monopoly on the whole business.
Nowadays, you can buy display tablet for as cheap as 150$-200$ ish from Huion or XP-Pen.
Or just save for iPad + paper like screen protector + Apple pencil. It's practically the closest to drawing on paper, even better than High end Wacom, since the gap between the glass and the screen is nearly nonexistent.
Looks good. Like it a lot.My artworks has always been hand-drawn/sketched, though I color/screentone it via computer.
Scanners are making hand-colored artworks look kinda bad, so I rarely use them for colored works.
Here's my proof...

My story may not be here in ScribbleHub, but all of the artworks I used in it are all handdrawn...like this screentoned in-chapter illustration from my Volume 14...

Why am I still drawing the lineart the 'ol' fashioned way'?
I suck at drawing lineart using graphic pen tablet, that's why.
Nah, both digital and traditional ways of doing linearts have their advantages and disadvantages.Looks good. Like it a lot.
I also find using the old way, way more comfortable. Maybe I am just getting old.
