News about the Novel Inspired by Solo Leveling(re uploaded)
I had already mentioned that I would write a novel inspired by Solo Leveling and that it would also have a harem.

Now, I wanted to let you know that I can finally start writing it because I had to resolve some personal issues, but now I have free time.

I will begin drafting it this week and then proceed to write Volume 1.

As spoilers, I’ll tell you that thanks to the anime Nanatsu no Taizai, specifically the last arc, I’ll be adding two final arcs: the Hell King Arc and the Supreme Deity Arc. I was disappointed by the wasted potential of that arc and how much of a disaster it turned out to be—especially the whole Estarossa being Obito, I mean, Mael.

Another spoiler is that before the ending, there will be a competition called the World Ranking Tournament, which consists of battles between all the S-rank hunters worldwide. In this arc, my favorite characters will be the Roman from the Catholic Church, the arrogant Chinese fighter, and the Hero of America who will humiliate his own government for being assholes(They are afraid that the MC has come this far and want to get rid of him, but the S-rank fighter from their country refuses because that would not only be dishonorable for him but even more so for his country. However, his government doesn’t care about honor and will do it behind the scenes.).

With nothing more to say, look forward to its release because you’ll love it!

Remember, the title of the work will be Dungeon Herrscher.

what is the MC like
Spoiler Alert: The "MC" looks like he was pulled straight from a Disney/Netflix cast. He's ugly, fat, a pervert, hateful, looks at everyone with disdain, and is deeply insecure. His complex stems from the fact that his "job" is something strange called "Hero," a role that doesn't exist in this world.

While in a dungeon, he steps on a trap after staring at the butt of a female companion—the only one who treats him like a human. This trap locks them both inside a secret passage where goblins lurk. The door is open but won't stay that way for long. She grabs his hand and tries to flee, but because he's so fat and short-legged, he can't run fast enough. He then decides to save her by pushing her forward.

As the goblins tear him apart, he curses the world for making him so pathetic. Just as he dies, the status screen shows that his job activates—leading us to the real protagonist.

In another world, a hero is about to defeat the Demon King. Before dying, the Demon King mocks him, asking if he enjoyed "playing the hero." After finishing off the Demon King, the hero celebrates his victory—only to be swallowed by a bright light. He wakes up in a cave where goblins attack him. He dodges their attack but quickly realizes that his body feels heavy and his arms are short.

The real MC's personality is similar to Yor Forger—cheerful and caring toward friends and loved ones, even improving his life, but ruthless and bloodthirsty when facing monsters and enemies.

The first part of the volume focuses on correcting the flaws of his new body and understanding this world. The second part will focus on combat.

I like the idea, but I've read a similar novel before, where the author pulls a gotcha! moment and switches the protagonist after the first chapter. And sadly, in that novel, I had already gotten attached to the very evil and cruel fake protagonist, and I quit the novel after I found out the real protagonist was a so called 'nice guy' who turned out to be more hypocritical than nice.

I think this has to be handled very carefully. Especially the part where you mention all the different countries; it could come off as racist or nationalist if done incorrectly.

Good luck to you and your novel, I'll try it out if you do decide to write it!

NOT Disney/Netflix - he'd have to have been written as a that, but cast as a dark-complected woman of average looks. Come on man! :biggrin_s:

What’s is a redditor??
Sounds too much like solo leveling. Have some originality.
Nope. If you use that thinking, Arifureta or Dungeon Seeker are the dads who f SL, is just the power of “I saw this in other place cause originally are already ended”

If he was writing as a woman he’s name should be Iron Heart ?

Someone who uses reddit and they are basically all of the disgusting things you've described

nah it's going to be seen as racist and nationalistic to begin with even if done correctly

  • Souka, makes sense.
  • Nope, I'm not interested in things like nationalism or offending anyone. S-rank adventurers are arrogant because they are the best of the best in their countries, and they all think they're untouchable. The MC is different—he feels like he's watching boastful kids, and all his opponents underestimate him because he's Japanese. Just so you know, the novel has an anime-style approach. If you feel offended by what they say, that would be your problem. Almost all foreign adventurers are just filler characters; they won't appear again.

Well, that's why it's a novel based on the urban fantasy genre—because it's possible you've seen something similar before.

The MC is not a hypocrite, as I've already said and will say again. He is kind to those who treat him with care or respect, but he looks down on monsters and won’t hesitate to kill idiots or corrupt individuals. Since he’s from another world, he feels nothing when killing humans. However, he won’t kill anyone in public—if the police arrested him, no one would want that.

The world tournament arc is exactly that—a World Cup, but created by the strongest countries to show off their best adventurers. The G7 (the seven countries that have completed the most S-rank dungeons: USA, China, Russia, Germany, France, Rome, and South Korea) founded it to prove that the winner represents the best country. I don’t care about nationalism, racism, or offending anyone. What matters to me is telling a story where the characters’ personalities feel realistic—and being a jerk is realistic.

I cam here for one thing and one thing only who is the milf?
They are 3 MILFs but 6 mature women.
The first is the neighbor who appears at the beginning, the second is a demon queen and the third is a millionaire adventurer's widow, all of them come with daughters.
The other mature women are: a detective who is adventurous, an obnoxious teacher who is only at the stage of not being able to get a husband but behind closed doors she is very sweet, and finally a piano teacher who does not hide that she is in the mood for the MC now that he is a sex symbol with legs.
