The Babbel lesson covered things I already knew from Duolingo, but it is good to review. Did some Clozemaster as well to round up the hour. I am almost at the one-month point! What I learned from this challenge is that languages can't be cramped. Or, at least, I can't cram them. One hour per day is more than enough.

I figured I could do my Swedish hour early in the morning because I don't need my glasses for that. That said, I will be doing more Clozemaster today, since I really want to finish the first section of the 100 most common words. I need just about 300 more sentences, and it takes me 6 minutes per 100 sentences, so, yeah, it is no big deal.

23.1.2024:

Did a bit more than one hour of Swedish, but it was for a good cause! I just needed to finish my Babbel Course 4, then I saw in Clozemaster that I just needed 200 sentences to finish the 100 most common words course. So, yeah, got in the flow.

26.1.2024:

Did my hour of Swedish. But, I have been thinking. Shouldn't I try to do more Clozemaster? I mean, after my Babbel lessons, I take mostly a whole lesson and one pronunciation lesson, I have time for just 100 Clozemaster sentences. That is just 5–10 minutes, depending on how hard they are.

So, here is what I will do:

100 sentences before every food related or drink related thing, except for water. So, I just did the one hundred sentences, and I can get myself a cappuccino. If I want to have lunch, which will happen at around 1 p.m., then I will need to do 100 sentences first, or starve. Tee in the afternoon? Better crack up the Clozemaster, or no mint for me! Dinner? Dream on, if you haven't done 100 sentences before it.

Hm... if I include the extra tea or milk I could get if I have trouble going to sleep, that could reach about 500 sentences in a day!

27.1.2024:

Did my hour of Swedish. That said, I think I should take a couple of days to review all the Babbel lessons I went through. Today I learned about the plural, and even though it wasn't all that complicated, I still made mistakes. If I just go forward without getting the hand of it now, I will have a miserable time later.

So, the review is needed.

Did my review day. Yesterday I thought I didn't understand the plural, but today during the review I got the sentences right. Maybe I just felt overwhelmed yesterday?

Because I am lazy, that's why. Finished book 1 of Legacy of Dragonfire on the 25th, have two sidestories planned in the hiatus period between Book 1 and Book 2, and back to working on Godslayer Lysette. Have been consistently over 2k per day.

I have not been tracking each day, but I'm pretty sure I'm over 70,000 for the month.

Well just finished a chapter.
Been a bit sleep deprived the last 4 days, some dogs didn't want me to sleep.

Anyway, 3 chapters for the week are already done. So time to try and get ahead of schedule.

Work should be starting soon, excited and terrified to start that.

Nearly forgot to do my Swedish practice. I just had so much fun with writing today, but then I saw the clozemaster tab, and I just knew I had to get some practice in. Not really sure if it was an entire hour, but I did one lesson and some reviewing.

Lift more, write more, become more religious, and put the final nail in the coffin of a thing

Lifting is going OK. Getting back into the habit after stopping during Christmas season is pain, but we are getting there. Have written more and have delved further into religious studies. Nailing said coffin shut is going alright. I think I've done alright so far.

An outline? I do have a simple dot points kind of, to varying extents anyway. Different stories require different amount of notes.
