New Series Submission

Posted a new series on Sunday morning, so it's going on four days later. Still not appearing.

Is this normal? Is there any kind of notification? A message to tell you it's up? Or if something's wrong, do they tell you?

If four-plus days for appearing on search is normal, that's fine. Just afraid I've missed some secret handshake or something.

But I can't find it by searching for it. Not by title, not by tags, not by fandom, not by genre, nothing."

Not much point to posting books here if no one can find them. :(

Was not approved.

Check if it complies with Content Guidelines.
If it does, it's probably a bug with the automod bot. If your story has a cover, try removing/swapping it temporarily.
If it still doesn't show up after this, write to the admin. You can find out how in Contact Us at the bottom of the main page.

I'm also waiting for my story to be indexed properly into the system. (the pink book)
I've been having issues where I resubmitted it a second time, ongoing since around Jan 2nd.

During this second round, it's not searchable still, but this time it gets views, comments, etc.
My chapter titles had dates in them due to the nature of my story, but I edited them on the 11th and submitted a new chapter.
Been waiting since then and sent a message about it~ You're not alone.

My book is called Our Infinite Sadness. I can't find it so I guess you guys are right they must have rejected it.

I posted one chapter. No sex, no violence, no swears, no nothing. The cover is just the face of a girl wearing a dress right up to her neck.

Like stuff gets rejected and they don't even tell you why? I don't know. I'm like whatever I guess.

The bot who is approving the stories/covers has issues. You do get notified if your story/cover gets rejected.

@LeilaniOtter had the same issue until they changed the cover

I never got notified so maybe it just takes like five days. It doesn't matter. Posting it was a dumb idea.

Well I sent a message on the "Contact Us" link so maybe the admins will do something. The cover has a light background. Maybe the AI thingy thinks the background is too much skin. (LOL.) AI sucks. If no one will fix it I'll just close my account but thanks for all your help.

My book comes up in search now! With the cover! :D It has 20 views so people at least can find it. So maybe the admins fixed it or maybe it just takes five days but my problem is resolved!

This isn't an advert, and it's okay no one's reading it. I'll add more chapters, everyone says that helps. Thanks again everyone.
