Planning on writing a new mmorpg novel. What do you think is better, Introducing different races from the start or should it all be humans first? Also give me some of your suggestions.

Want me to write for you too? Step one of writing is literally brainstorming ideas, you can't just outsource that man.
Frankly, just go for humans only, or you might get stuck making up new magical races. Don't worldbuild until you have an interesting premise.

Humans only OR choose a different race and have that be the race the MC is using. Then that + humans so you can organically introduce that race’s specific quirks and traits in ways other than blatant exposition dumps. You can use subtle exposition dumps.

As for suggestions? Hell if I know. MMORPG is very vague. I don’t even know what genre you’re writing in. This could be anything from a sci-fi death game to an isekai power fantasy.

You can ask for suggestions and some would enjoy giving them, but it needs to be more focused, like a prompt. I have a friend who is writing an urban fantasy D&D campaign and needed some ideas for evil magical shit that the evil corporation he is using as the major overarching threat is doing. We discussed who and what the good guys were then workshopped a demonically possessed ai girlfriend app and that’s his arc one villain (at minimum) sorted.

I thought this was a Tony problem :blobrofl:

There's only so much coding he could do people :sweating_profusely: and the program has become self-aware
Hes just the developer behind the LLM, once its out there he cant stop it from feeding on shit.

He needs to go speak to the head of the LLM @Ai-chan before any valid options become available.
Great idea! MMORPG novels are a rage in the weeb community. Before you start writing an MMORPG novel, please take into account:
1. Your target audience
Writing a novel that caters to your target audience will ensure readership and acclaim.
2. The genre
There are all types of MMORPG novels such as tragedy, isekai, harem and so on. Knowing what kind of stories you want to write will help gain a following.
3. The plot
Not all plot works for your target audience. For example, netorare is rarely a popular element in a harem novel. Similarly, stories with revenge element is often desirable in wish-fulfillment novels. You need to balance out between risk and pleasure and find out what works.

Would you like me to give you a general plot for a bullshit harem, wish fulfillment, power fantasy and strong from the start protagonist MMORPG novel? Or would you like a general overview of why France sucks ass?

My only (serious) advice for OP:

MMO novels or VRMMOs are not trending right now.

Either make it normal fantasy, or plan to use the fact it's a game (for example, people logging because life sucks, or they log out because they need to decompress, or eat)

My own story is a VRMMO one, but like 40% of the narrative happens outside the game.
