As an illustrator, we were told that the cover should have something to do with the story. So if I got to pick based on this standard, I'll pick the first cover.
However, if you want to bait lots of readers, an anime waifu (preferably with revealing clothes) would get you the attention you're craving for.

Left cover looks like something that can appear on the shelves of bookshops in the YA fiction corner.
Right cover gives me the vibes of an unprofessional weeb author who uses cartoon while having such an edgelord title. There better be horny illustrations alongside the light novel-ese writing style.

I like the left one, too. But very few people are viewing my first Chapter. If I had a lot of views of Chapter 1 (or the Prologue), but no views of Chapter 2, I'd say the novel needed a rewrite. But frankly, I can't get anyone to view Chapter 1.

Why not merge both?
No, I'm not crazy, I'm not talking of overlapping them. I mean, make an epic cover with detail... and also an anime waifu.
Something like a girl wearing revealing armor... fighting a dragon, with a volcano background
Also, stylized font is more attractive

I want to say the right one but the left does look more professional.

First one bro. Most Anime covers scream low-quality to me.
But then again, i dont like eastern style writing (chinese, korean, japanese WN) the same way i used to anymore, so i might be biased.
Most people here seem like they still enjoy those tho...
Maybe its the title? Most fantasy nerds love magic and dont want to see it die. magic makes all your dreams come true and makes people feel like unique special snowflakes...
