Anyone knows what kind of page and text format is used for light novels? If you do, please do tell.

I agree with the guy above. Use whatever you like, or see what's appropriate if it's for commercial consumption.

If you want to publish here, use whatever text format you want. If you want to publish on Amazon, follow Smashword's rules. Yes, you have to read it a little bit, but if you can make it work on Smashwords, you can make it everywhere. Smashwords' meat grinder is the most sensitive and probably most annoying out of all of them.

But to make it short, any serif fonts are good if you just want to publish here. Basically, just use the default font.
