Listening to songs that have Chester Bennington singing (okay, it just makes me really sad).

Stories/movies with children, or child-like individuals, dying. That includes pets and adults with childlike mentalities (I still hate my other half for making me watch Defendor with him).

The episode of the original pokemon where Butterfry decides to leave Ash to go be with it's mate.

Also the original movie of Pokemon when Ash gets turned to stone and a solid five minutes is dedicated to Pikachu thunderstriking his stone body trying to bring him back or get any form of reaction.

After those, I said "enough is enough" and went cold turkey on feelings.

Then the one Charmander episode, when Ash tried to protect its tailfire in the rain.

Birth scenes (the baby's out part, not the screaming labor part). I don't usually cry at a character's death, but when one is born I always do. By the way, are you sure this thread belongs in "authors" instead of "readers" or "general"?
