It starts with a chapter outline which is divided into three segments: Basic outline, Intermediate outline, and Advanced outline. The basic outline is just a bullet points that are sequencial of the events. the other two are just adding depth to it. I barely go upto the advanced one tho.
Next comes is the first draft, which is literally me putting down as many words as fast as i possibly can. Despite my chapters are usually 5k long. First drafts are around 2k. The main purpose of this draft is simply to increase the chapter count and giving me a feleling of progress. Which in turn allows me to write more.
Second draft is basically adding details to the chap and bulking it up. And then editing and revising and stuff.
Now, I can think of a better way to write more but thing is doing that will probably lead me to procastination adn stuff.
Do share your writing process. Any advice appreaciated.

1) Write what I know. Using my own life experience makes writing easier. No research required.
2) Keep the plot in mind. I will inevitably stray, but as long as I get back, it's good enough for a webnovel.
3) Stay away from mind-numbing agents. When I am numb, I cannot write. Going crazy creates a need for either writing or mind-numbing agents. If I already took the latter, I won't need to do the former.
4) Music. To survive the headaches and distract from the ringing, it is an absolute must.
5) Proofread the next day. Better late than never!

1) Know what I am writing before I start writing
2) Write it
3) Profit!

Can skip 1 and 3, but then 2 takes a long time.

1) is usually done via drafting a very barebones beat plot of events, but I have to be careful because if I detail things or lock things in too much then I will choke myself and nothing will get done. I find my writing is like a campfire... it carefully needs to be kindled until it gets going or despite having tons of material I won't ignite. :er_what_s:

I write 1k chapters, but I write 5 of them per day. In this heat, I use a bit of water as motivation. And by that, I mean I wet my neck, arms and legs, and then write for 30 minutes without making a stop. Why 30 minutes? The water evaporates in this time, and I need to cool down again. I find that this is better than drinking coffee after the second chapter, which is something I used to do.

Mine is:

-Have ADHD and suffer from maladaptive daydreaming
-Plot 58 book massive series in mind over several years
-finally get motivation to write one
-end up writing 10k words per chapter because I can't bear to split it up further.

On a serious note, I have a bunch of notes with dot points for vague plotlines, one for each 'arc'. I add some more scenes that aren't directly related to the plot every now and then. I used to go over 10k pretty often. Now I don't.

I currently have written nearly 42 chapters of my story and each is over 10k words :\

Easy fix mate: chapters are not mandatory. Plenty of older books are split in "parts" but not in "chapters". 10k per part seems fair.

I look at the last chapter I wrote. Think about the basic plot I have stored in my mind and try to tie it together. Has it worked? Not particularly well, but at least it's not terrible.

I'm contemplating actually planning out the story I'm currently writing, otherwise I'm worried I'll forget something I wrote in the beginning and leave myself plot holes.

I just go for it. Get in the head if the characters in the chapter and it almost writes itself. Although I wish it really did write itself lol

Mine's...

1) Research into my theme.
2) Planning and plotting.
3) Writing drafts a day during my writing mood.
4) Edit three times.
5) Publish final edit.
Nice!
when It comes to researching what hapens with me is I'd end up wasting a lot of time and before I know it Im kinda burnt out. So what i do is, if I need to research then simply put it at a later date and write when Im supposed to.
How do you do the planning and plotting part? Chapter by chapter like mine? Recently I made a timeline to for overarching plot
I write chapters that are a basic draft, around 2-3k words long. I write around 10 or so chapters, then bulk edit.
A pantser I see!
Wait until the last minute.
Flail my fingers against the keyboard.
Hope something good happens.
Take the credit.
Aww...I tried that and the end result aren't pretty.

1. Writing from experience is awesome! No authors create somethign out of nothing. Something has ot be the inspiration.
2.Horrible choice mate. If you aim the moon you may reach the sky! Otherwise nothing!
3. Idk what you mean.
4. Some recom? I tend to start mine without any and then proceed to use them later!
5. tsk! Does Ai not exist in your radar Mr?

Chapter by chapter as well, or more like, I determine the importance of each chapter so I know what details to write.

Still I leave 'allowance' for 'discovered plots', so I can be flexible when writing (and make the story even more interesting).

I know right. When I started writing first I'd waste a magnificient amount of time trying to outline. I did try to be pantser, turned out horrible. Now my outline structure works great!

May you rest in peace, my child:)

You may visit a doctor soon, my child who has Adhd lol
I've procreated, so I no longer have a writing process.
You may procreate again. You have my blessings!

Water! Nice! But use oil though. Better for skin or something lol. jokes aside 6 times a coffee a weak once a day with periodical break of a week seems to does wonder for me. Try that. You can increase or decrease the amount any time. Sweet, aren't it?

FInd god. find peace.
Now, best way to beat procastination is by having a schedule. Try that.
Have competitions. Works fantastic.
