BEFORE YOU READ THIS, JUST DON'T, DO SOMETHING PRODUCTIVE!
THIS WILL ALSO MAKE NO FKING SENSE SO I SUGGEST DON'T READ THIS!
Hey people, here I am again, with another set of random info. But before that, let me tell you all a little story. Its a story of a boy starting out as a writer. He made his first story but it was a fail. Knowing that he can't achieve his goal, he created another account in WN. He made stories and accounts over and over. Until he hit jackpot. Being a weeb that he is, he wrote a fanfic which gained a lot of views. But this young boy, he was a fool. He let other readers mold his brain. They controlled him. He then realized that he can't continue anymore, he created another one. But it was also a fail.... What happened back there?
Yes, we are going to talk about readers. If you're a reader, I still suggest you read this.
Readers are basically human beings who reads your story. And I am here to talk about them.
Readers are divided into different species and as an author, you need to know how to deal with them.
-The Loyal- They genuinely love your story. They would comment and as an author, might as well give them a thank you, or if you're feeling good, give them a cookie.
-The Trolls- They would rate your stories one star. Take note, Trolls are equal to one star raters but One star raters are not equal to trolls. Message, just because you knew the possibility that this rate must be a troll rate, it also means that maybe ur story is just shit in one element.
-The Commenter- I love these beings. They basically comment fun things everytime u post a new chapter. I love them so much!
-The Lovely Cheerleaders- They are the people who comment about your well being if you posted about something like being sick. They will comment something like "Get well soon" something. I love them as well.
-The Grammar and Spelling Police- They comment about your mistakes. As an author, might as well correct them.
We have more but we will stop there. Time for the helpful tips.
-This depends on the website your writing for. In SH, cases like these are rare but lets be cautious like Seiya and be a little goof boi.
1. Don't satisfy your readers- Sounds ridiculous but believe me, there are times you grant your readers' wish to have this idea in your novel but sometimes, just stick to what you think.
2. Mass Release is a no no- Don't mass release for your readers. Mass release if you have the time and the ideas.
3. Don't ignore their presence- Readers are human beings, if we love them, they will start loving us too. Same rule goes to writing, if you became interested in them somehow, they will be interested in you too.
4. Aww for fuck's sake please don't hiatus- Just don't.
5. Update constantly- If not everyday, then go on and schedule when you are going to publish this chapter.
I know I know, these are the basics but we always forget about them.
Now time for the Reader Rules:
1. Don't be rude, just don't
2. If you're not a troll, just please leave a decent review. Just please, so that new readers can find out why they received that ratings.
3. Patience
4. Don't look at my tips, do something productive!
Thats all folks, I hope my random bullshit somehow helped you all. Time to continue my writing.
