When courting the Muse, one must not underestimate the weight of the undertaking. One must speak with dignity, and gravitas... recite poetry, shit like that. One must make offerings of mead and fatted calfs and Reese's peanut butter cups. One must sing the songs that remind you of the good times, and the songs that remind you of the better times. The Muse is hard to please. Mine really wants a whole cake and a couple of cosmos right now. I wonder if they'll settle for a cup of coffee.
