Yesterday I was just about ready to give up writing, but today I just wanted to give it a one last chance. So, I turned the focus mode on Word, and just typed away. Now I have the first three chapters of a WIP, and feel hyped about writing some more!

Which means just one thing: stats don't motivate me, they demotivate me. I can't help but compare myself to others when I know my stats. Which is why not seeing them as I write lets me allow the chapter to end when it needs to, and for the story to write itself!

As soon as someone tells me how I can donate my subscribtion time on 4thewords, I am quitting that site! It was fun, at the start, but now it is just a meh experience. I will miss my friends there, but what can I do? Writing is more important to me than beating up some pictures of mobs in a set amount of time.

=)

Awesome :blob_cookie: I hope you write a lot. I'm rooting for you :blobtaco:
You got yours back, I've lost mine. I feel like if I go on another hiatus I will drop my recent story and if I do, I will stop writing for good this time. I wish I had some of your enthusiasm. :blob_nom:

Inspiration for writing is like a running wheel. If it stops, it takes a great push to get it rolling again. I always keep a small notebook with me to remind myself to write every day. It works very effectively.

This is why I’m trying to complete a novel before I start releasing the chapters for it.
