Usually, fanfics are at most getting their patreon links removed. If the "original fanfic" (as far as a fanfic can be original) got deleted and the user banned, then either there was an attempt to evade the donation link detection, or it was judged to be a translation with at least some proof provided (though there was at least one case where the proof itself was the illegal translation of an original work on SH). Or it broke rules in some other major way.

I mean, that's exactly what I was expecting, though I wasn't sure about what could have been done to get it deleted.

Deletion with an account ban comes down to one of three things.

• Illegal content (e.g. smut with underage characters)
• Translations
• Fanfiction link removal evasion (e.g. p@treon)

Breaking other terms of service may still result in the story being removed, but it generally won't have an account ban attached.

Translations

Though, translations doesn't usually mean getting the account terminated for good. Usually their visibility is blocked.

Though that doesn't mean they're not banned per se. They're "shadowbanned" by Tony

That was the case at first. Now, not only is the story hidden, but the user account itself is banned.
