Ok, i have played a bunch of the games, but i am confused as to the lore of scorpion, and sub-zero, i know that there are many endings+the movie that say that quan-chi impersonated one (or both) of them, to get scorpion to be his champion, but i don't know which is cannon/i should use for a later arc in my story, so i would like to request the help of someone who knows the cannon.

I don't think NRS even knows at this point. Seems like they shift between best friends to worst enemies in every cutscene.

yea, debating just using MK9's sub-zero tower ending as the cannon (for my story) because its simple, and efficient.
