Writing Prompt Monsters that require other races in order to reproduce

With that Goblin Slayer thing of monsters that need to breed with other races to reproduce, I’ve been wondering if anyone of you have your own take on monsters like that?
I mean, it seems it’s always goblins and orcs, so why not a made-up monster or something like that?

there's a species of bird that lays an egg with an almost exact similar pattern as that of another species. they go, eat one of the other species egg, and drop their own in the nest, basically leaving the other bird to raise their chick while they fuck around.

I have goblins and orcs in my story, though they are a civilized bunch. (Engineers and architects)

Also with ghouls, who serve as the 'first responders/rescuers' of their race. They are different from my zombies in that, a ghoul is sentient while the zeds are not.

I got monsters, yes, but they eat and trample people instead of trying to reproduce with them.

And I don't mean sex, no. Sometimes vampires in other stories create other vampires through the act of sucking people's blood. Meaning that's also a form of reproducing, no? No?

realistically, those kinsd of monsters wouldnt have even survived long enough to reproduce with other species if they couldn't do so with their own species first. It would have had o have come suddenly, like a disease.

I read a story where a vamp got pregnant, but it took many years for it to come to a birth because of how vamps take to age. So there was many years of pregnancy to deal with. So yeah, a bite would be best in their case.
Like i said, a species that has to rely on other species to reproduce would require some type of sudden disease or other ailments to stop them from reproducing with their own kind first before they resorted to reproducing with other races.

yeah but thats more of an optional type of deal. They CHOOSE to do that. They don't NEED to. I;ve seen stories where Amazon type of women go out and mate with men, thenif they birth boys they just leave them and only take back the women to their islands. Kinda fucked up.

There's actually about a folklore in my country (Philippines). It's about the "Tikbalang" (Half-man/Half-horse), they have the head of the horse and a body of a man. Kind of opposite with Centaurs that have the upper body of Man and lower body of horse.

In this case, the folklore depicts the creature as monster that walks in the dead of nights. In some cases they are benevolent, others malevolent. They take human women as trophies or sometimes as brides. In other stories, they rape the women who are at the ripe time of their age.

Trust me, the folklore stories are a fun read if you ever see them on the internet. Back then in elementary school, there was a book about folklores in the library of my former school. Shit was fun to read, there were a lot of fantasy creatures of the Philippines.

there's the "Mangkukulam"(Philippine version of the witch), "Sigbin", "Tiktik", "Aswang", "Diwata", and many others.

This is relevant if there is evolution like in the real world, at least if it is to the degree it is depicted in Goblin Slayer and similar settings.
And even then, we have both brood parasites and animals that place their eggs inside living hosts in the real world, both of which could be seen as lesser form of the trope at hand.

If the setting has one or more gods that have actively created the races, all bets are off.
It's worth noting that a god that creates even one race that relies on this form of reproduction is a real piece of s***.
