Metaphors in isekai

So, I noticed that, there are some metaphors, which when used in context of an isekai, make the whole thing kinda hilarious since they are now in the realm of being plausible. If I say, "I am am animal in bed", it really makes me imagine someone transforming into a kitty as soon they touch the soft blankets.

Other examples,
He was a lion in battle
She spilled coffee on me, making me fly across the street
He was so intimidating, I basically shrunk in his presence
Aww, my cutie squirrel

There was once two gods that ruled supreme after defeating a dark god. They both had different ideals on how the world should work. One god believes that everyone should fuck who they want without intervention from the gods. The other god believes that everyone should be matched together so that everyone could fuck with nobody left behind.

Their disagreement led to dispute and they both parted ways, one to the west and one to the east.

The god of the west decides to let the people do their own thing, with minimal intervention. As a result, there are people who have more than others. Some people have a harem of partners to fuck as much as they can without worrying about livelihood. Some people have no partners to fuck and live a sad life.

The god of the east laughs at this and stated that his planned fucks is the way forward. He matched people together, those with more than one partner is broken up and the extra partner is given to one without a partner. As a result, now everyone has a partner. Everyone gets to fuck equally, and everyone dies equally as they commit suicide from being forced to fuck against their will.

Same. Kinda a let down not gonna lie. But i doubt many isekai even have metaphors baked into the story to begin with. No one thinks that far ahead. XD

I was going to come in here and be a professor for a while and give you all a lecture about how escapism is not inherently bad as some really edgy stories seem to be going for these days.

So, I'll keep this short and sweet, isekai that lectures you about 'escapism bad' is about as original and nuanced as zombie stories using their platform to complain about 'muh consumerism'.

Well, we can take it that way, indeed, isekai is a wish fulfilment, we all want a life of no competition, where there are enough resources that we all can be friends, a world where girls aren't boring, and a world where you aren't confined in a room

I'm a big fan of the escapism bad thing, since evangelion did it so well.

Yet some people (indigenous inhabitants of Twitter), will call you an incel for liking such a story (this is coming from a guy that your generic harem stories), without realizing the irony that the same wish-fulfillment that is provided by these iskeai stories is the same type that fuels these window-licking troglodytes own escapist fantasies.

Here is a fun game take a popular women's novel like 'Twilight' or 'Fifty Shades of Gray and high fantasy elements and see how similar it is to a standard self-insert isekai novel.

Never said that it couldn't be done well Re: Zero shows this theme being done pretty well.

I used to watch him a bit when it came to the Uzaki-chan drama, but as of late no. If Hero Hei has said something similar, I have no idea and sorry I gave you the impression that I was quoting him or something; and it is not just Twitter that does this. It just so happens to be one of the most vocal.

No need to apologise here, but yes, twitter is filled with a bunch of angry folks. Just know that you don't have to satisfy their inflated ego, and you will be just fine
