What were your best memories from when you were a kid? You don't need to put names, but can just say some events ....

Mine was ...........Drinking coffee for the first time. Best mistake I've made in my life!

I think that it was at the time where my mom was still alive? The time where all of our family had gathered as dad brought home a large watermelon and shared wlit with all of us. I thought it was just an insignificant memory of mine but it was the only happy moment where i talked about the interested things that had happened with my siblings and they actually listened to my stories, my dad offered another watermelon since i only ate a few and my siblings didn't beat me up for a single slice.

It was the only memory that i can say that to be my happiest moment.

Musta been amazing!
It was. I now live in the city but still think about those days, it helps me calm down during stressful moments.
I invited a colleague to our hometown to try walking in the sandbar but she got scared hahahaha. The intense blue background of the seaside can make others anxious for some reason.

I remember the first time my family went sledding on a tall hill in our backyard (no exaggeration here, but this hill was as steep and as tall as a freaking mountain!). It was pretty chaotic, cold, and fun, not gonna lie. :blob_melt: ?❄️?️

When I was around 11, my mom bought a house off in an area where the land was still being developed and was near a patch of forest that I knew had some form of road cutting through it on all sides. Since I knew that I could easily get out if I was lost just by picking a direction and walking, I started exploring that entire wooded area. It was my favorite thing to do while I was in middle school.

well i once convinced some sweedish 17 year old to stop selling drugs and get therapy and anti depressants for his depression . He actually followed my advice and got better. That made me feel pretty proud and happy.

Also realizing that science is a model and you can't understand the world just by logic(you also need deduction oclum's razor and some assumptions which can't be justified by themselves(like only using falsiable theories) also evidence) and laws of science are good geusses we can't prove them to be absolute truths .Example we can prove pythagorus therom to be always true from axioms but we can't show that for laws of physics.

Also that PBS spacetime sometimes says pseudo scientefic bullshit which can't be proven to be true. example stuff like (time doesn't flow).
This can't actually be tested or proven.

basically all this made me feel pretty proud and happy.

Math tests. I loved being given something to do that made sense, and that I was good at. Even better, it forced the other kids to sit down and shut up. The other kids in school were always yelling and shoving each other and running around, I hated that. I loved that they hated math.

Math is a great subject... it rarely changes as you age. It always stays the same..
