Nope. Perfectly normal.

No, i dont use premium. I use free

For roads, i just use the smallest setting for line drawing. For borders, I use the smallest setting, but I draw lines through it, making it look like a dotted line. A little bit of creativity with the tools available in free version can make a map that looks just as good as the premium version.

If you're willing to spent... 20 bucks I think... you could always buy wonderdraft. It's a good map making software in my opinion
