Bloodborne? That work itself has a lot of AU. There are a ton of works, especially in CN, that likes to pull a Souls reference wherever they can for a grimdark medieval land of hopelessness.

the only one i ever saw that was good to read (and was finished or continued) is named arcane blood it was a fanfic that mixed an AU of harry potter and bloodborn

yeah that is a problem with TDG as for shield hero cant say i love the anime but i loved the storie when i had read it as a webnovel
but seriously for panlong the way it ended was really a shame it did not live up too the potential of the world building it had a little like city of sin but that one was not has bad though a little heart breaking toward the end

Most of my issues with Shield Hero was how the PC's were portrayed, they were more 2 dimensional then the locals were. It was also way to predictable for me. I could guess with 75% accuracy by the end of a book what was going to be in the next one and how that would end up.

at a certain point that pretty much the case with all story we see the plot coming when we have read enough .... though i see were you are coming from, but toward the end the development was pretty hectic and though the story (anime in particular) left to be desired a little the world on which it was build had some potential if you have read to the end

"Martial arts master" from the famous chinese author of Magica Arcana and Lord of Mysteries. [Cuttlefish That Loves Diving] Peaceful urban world but martial arts is basically existing. Like football it's kinda the main enjoyment to watch or admire, and like jp highschool baseball, lot of tournaments.
And unlike martial arts series, people can't be op like crushing mountains, can't resist bullets, but stopping a car is fine
and finding ways to dodge bullets is not that hard with high strength (using cover, running fast, throw stuff)
The threshold to become a martial arts is medium-high, hence not that common.
And just jp-isekai, the power levels is kinda a pyramid of power where only a few can get to the top SSS by fighting/training AND talent.
And there is no xianxia stuff. In fact there is but it's just a few "remains" from caves.
Very interesting idea that at a certain threadshold lvl of martial-lvl, you can awaken a specific "power" that defies physics but not world-destroying lvl. Fire punch/fire pillar/ice/word-curse/illusion/desorientation. The possibility behind it is monstruous, because at a certain arc, there is a opponent got "bad luck" power (malus that after using, later a nearby on with get bad luck -> a female classmate of him used as comedy that it falls on her often) and bc MC passively rebounded the "luck curse", was mindblown-surprised that his enemy somehow got out of bound of arena without doing anything (slipping, cloth, foot, trying to roll back in fight posture).
PS : The series is one rare series that makes you think "no way author is chinese" bc of being too wholesome, with no love rival, no kidnapping, no icecold physic FL, FL being very attractive FL like Doupo Canqgiong, family-in-law not refusing, no assassination, no faceslap.

Also not everyone can become a strong and its more like a medieval world with martial arts. [Qi = a "master" is basically a god of war. 1 can beat thousands. Or can decapitate a person in a flash. BUT as soon he exhaust his qi reserves, he is basically a weak chicken to kill. That is why the main reason that they can't replace / beat armies]
MC = Handsome genius disfigured in past life during highschool, he became a world renowned doctor with even Nobel prize of Peace. WHAT IS MOST INTERESTING INFO : THE MC CAN'T FIGHT, 0 strength, all brain = everything is won with his brain/plans/traps.
Even a chicken/goose can beat him. But so smart and evil that lot of villains scream "YOU ARE TOO POISONOUS !!!" when they lose to him.
Author turned it into a masterpiece by using the trope of hidden civilization. The kind that had nukes (qi nukes) and locked their laboratories with freaking mathematical irl unsolvable theorems.
PS : Its my top favorite anti-hero MC that i take inspiration on how to act = care the people that deserve your case, and ignore the rest, because human nature is fundamentally shit and evil.

Blood borne itself has good lore but also a good way to give fanfiction ideas especially duality and psychology to humanity. Since the core theme of it is based around the harshness of life especially on birth, hunting, and etc.
