Serenity is kinda like that but it is not my novel the magitech in that one is not a major theme though.
I will copy and paste an explanation.
It differs directly from technomagic approach to the work of "mechanisms". With the aforementioned magic and magicians perform the role of a programming language and encoder - it is written, a scheme or model of a spell is built and driven into an amulet of a suitable size, type and so on. From which artifacts are obtained that give certain effects and the possibility of using them by non-magicians. For example, a magical “refrigerator” with technomagic will be a cabinet (or an amulet attached to it with nails) in which a cold spell is “inscribed” or something similar.
In manapunk, the emphasis is on the more material component of magic in its gaseous, liquid or crystalline form, which is actively used (sometimes, even without the participation of magicians) as the main source of energy and / or fuel with high efficiency, often very dangerous and toxic. Again, as an example, the “refrigerators” with manapunk will be analogues of our real ones, albeit 150 years ago, modern or futuristic, but at the same time, instead of electricity, they will work from pipes through which mana comes, capsules-crystals-battery or generators that process magic into a more familiar current.
