All the advice in the world doesn't make pacing easy... you always get someone who says it's too fast or too slow. If it's more about flow than pacing, then adding smaller details would help, and reread conversations to make sure they sound like real conversations instead of just sounding like they were written by a robot.

Pacing is also very much a preference thing. Some people will like it one way, others will prefer something different. You can't really win. The best you can do is grab as many people as you can and hope for the best.
