Hello, I'm looking for feedback on my story. It is set in an original medieval setting that will focus on intrigue, politics, and warfare. The early chapters don't elaborate much on the characters, as I had planned to explore that later; adding a sense of urgency and confusion was my purpose.
This was the first thing I wrote, and I had hoped to explore everything in due course instead of dumping a detailed profile of everyone. I wanted to know if this approach was detrimental to the plot and pacing of events.
