Forgotten Title looking for a story

i cant remember the title of a story i really liked, it starts off in elven land and the protagonist is a slime that climbs a tree to not die to a wolf, she later meets an elf. they are in a barrier that is a prison for the elf. i think at some point after they get out of the barrier they get married and the elfs trusted friend betrays them and kills the elf but protagonist saves herany help is appreciated <3

Also i like that the OP gave details that isnt common (hence easier to find/remember for "helpers"). Knowing some, some threads would just stop at the "slime climb tree" done. (>3>)

My peeve are the "forgot the title", "can't find" etc. textual titles in addition to the tag.
If you can't remember more there's little you can do besides hope you get lucky with little information, but is it really too much to ask for the central point(s) upfront?

I like the writing a lot, and some of the characters, but the smut got too heavy for me personally.
