Most things anime from 2000-2014, bland MC, getting OP without working for it, copy and paste isekai, like, a fuck load of them, Sword Art Online (but the ntr hentais are good shits), etc

Just say he's medium high or medium low or something.
Or "strong at X, weak at Y"-- "his burst power is amazing, but he has no stamina", "she can read moves almost perfectly when fighting others who use taekwondo, but against other kinds of martial artists she isn't that strong", etc.
I don't get why LitRPG is so popular. I find that systems in novels become more and more restrictive to an author's story as the story progresses. It is like making a Vietcong trap in the jungle and then stepping into it willingly.
Okay, but to be fair... so is writing in general, to some extent.

No. Correction. Yesn't.
Are you one of those self-hating smut writers?

Well, the author simply forgot to show the part where they struggle tho.

Probably because the audience simply get bored of the filler training to grind and earning power the old fashioned way.

Therefore authors just skip them and just go straight to the fun action battle part, which works wonderfully in 2000-2014 era, and somewhere along the lines, authors simply forgot to show, forgot to mention, or even forgot to tell that MC is actually taking their time to train, making progress, and get used to their power.

***

SAO S1 part 1 is a good concept. Getting Trapped inside video game and incapable of getting out is a rare anime concept, at least in 2010-era, before SAO comes out.

It's just due to it's seinen genre, and the Harem tropes, that SAO went bad.
Many Copy-paste bland face MC that takes after SAO is bad, but Kirito face and haiestyle seems very fitting as he's designed that way in first place.

Cliches are plot points in stories that make the story progression predictable for the reader. You can see what going to happen next, and often proved right.
These plot points are used, recycled, and repacked so much that you come across them more than often.
List cliches both which you like and which you dislike.
“I took me years to do this.” Random side character.
”Really I finished it after 10 minutes of practice, a nosebleed, and with some outside guidance.” MC

is there any other kind? lol
Not cliche but author who is to afraid of a little suffering.
I am a bit of the opposite, sometimes I have no boundaries. I let this character suffer and the whole arc turned into a series of unfortunate events but I think I like the character suffering so much that I changed parts of my story to match this new accidental journey.
Now I am a bit braver lol but not too much
