It's been a while since I last published a story, but I think I have one I would really like to publish. Only problem is, of course, the light mode vs dark mode users. On dark mode, the color I used for certain words and titles (No it isn't the default color) was, in my opinion, perfect. UNFORTUNATELY I realized there was such a creature that used light mode, and for said light mode users, the colors that were great for dark mode looked terrible. Is there a way to make it so that certain words are one color for dark mode users, and a different color for light mode users? Please and thank you!

No, there is no such way. Apart from not using colors, that is.
And, tbh, you shouldn't use colors anyway. They are distracting. Stick to bold/italic if you must make something "more visible."

Thanks, I thought so.

I used color and regrets it ever since. But I have to go through with it to the end.

I don't think there is such a feature. Also why are you even using them? They look tacy and hard to concentrate on (especially in dark mode).

You're an author, not a clown. Wow the audience with your kickass composition, not by the colour of your joke. Yes, Ai-chan knows this is harsh, but think of your readers and how much work they will still have to deal with after getting tired from looking at your page.

Unless there is a specific story related reason, you probably shouldn’t be using different colors for your text. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t cases where different color text might enhance your story, read Umineko for an example, it just means that there should be a specific story related reason for it.
I am One of these creatures
Same although my screen is tinted to make it closer to a sepia mode since SH doesn’t have one…

I know this was not the question, but I use dark mode for everything except writing / reading work (though I do code in dark mode). I, for some reason, cannot concentrate on the text when it is in dark mode and even in dark mode, apps like excel/word etc still use white background for the actual text (the gray theme), which just looks more comprehensible for some reason.
