Actually, in my country, kiss on the cheek as a greeting or goodbye is also considered normal. It's just that, males generally don't do that. (am an exception, am bery touchy)

Men don't kiss others on the cheek often over here either, but I'm a girl and do it all the time, so... All good to me! \(^^)/
