Well, I thought I'd share my preliminary sketches/character designs for my brother's novel...

Really great. The eyes are too far apart, but I guess that is stylistic choice. Still, really great.

Yep, it's my style. My colleagues in animation have no problems about it tho.

Well, making the eyes far apart doesn't really make it harder or easier to animate so they shouldn't have any problem with this.

It's just traditional pencil and vellum board. Then I scanned it with a Brother 3-in-1 printer/scanner in 400 dpi grayscale.

I rarely use a graphic pen tablet for linearts. ???
