When I was new to SH, I accidentally spammed chapters on one of my stories. Back then, I didn't know that that's not how you do things here. Now, I'm trying to post another story, but I've been already shadowbanned.

This is basically a ban appeal and I didnt know where else to put it. So, please, un-shadow ban me?

BTW, this is the story i can't see:

Pro tip: deleting your stories and account then starting over in a new account is more efficient than making a ban appeal in this site. There is only one administrator. A very busy one.

Damn. That's gonna take forever and a day. I'll get to it tomorrow, thanks for the tip!

There's no such thing as getting banned for posting too many chapters all at once. I've seen other people say it exists but I've never seen such a feature as I've never implemented it :blobrofl:

Why do you think you got banned? I've checked your series and there's nothing wrong with it?

Isn't there a limit on how many will be visible in 24 hours though? I have seen this also? Something like in a 24 hours period, posting more than 3 chapters will make the 4th one not appear in latest updates?

No, not from my knowledge. If you sort the chapters within 24 hours then that could happen as it's to prevent authors from trying to cheat the latest updates page. Deleting a chapter might trigger the anti-cheat system too but I'm only like 80% sure about the deleting part.

I wasn't able to see it under "Latest Updates" on the time I scheduled. For some time, I also wasn't able to see when I searched for it. On that topic, nothing I post shows up under "Latest Updates."

That's why.

Once you post a chapter, it should show up in 5 minutes. Maybe you checked ASAP and thought it wasn't there? Did you check again after a few minutes?

Yes. I checked again just now (17 hours later). No change. My main story has the same issue

Yes. And no.

Then it's probably because you deleted a chapter:

I guess I did make deleting a chapter trigger the anti-cheat system

Someone recommended that I just create a new account (which I did). I intend to gradually transfer everything over, so you don't have to fix this issue for me

Just wait 24 hours before you post the next chapter and it'll be fine
