Today I chatted with that guy from another world.

He claims that he has the ability to appraise things.

So I brought the potion that the Wizard handed to us.

"This is [Veritaserum], the potion that makes the one who drink it, unable to tell any lies when it takes effect."

Truth potion, huh?

I guess the Wizard were still suspicious of us, and especially that ring. But well, it's not my problem anymore. It's already eaten by the pig, but strangely enough, that one pig seem to grow differently. Its fur became charred black and its eyes had a glint of crimson. I really should report to the Chief about this.

Still, I didn't fully trust the otherworlder, so I asked him, "Can I really believe your words?"

"Why don't you snuck one to the Wizard's drink? I doubt he would suspect anything from countryside people with no magic knowledge."

He also said, if I'm still suspicious, I could just tag along.

I guess that's one thing to consider. I'm also curious 'bout the Wizard's true motive of visiting this place.

I was wondering why that one pig never moves or eats. And what is the smell. Turns out it was that hobbit corpse we did not want the wizard to find! Fortunately, it's no longer recognisable.

Is it just me, or is it a bit sad that the Isekai Hero and Harem are so generic, they're not even considered a tool, just a resource to spend? :blob_popcorn:
