Show off some of your coolest or most interesting weapons, artefacts, creatures and items from your story.
What is this thing's history or lore?
I got two weapons that will be introduced in Book 2, so if I have any readers here, this will count as a spoiler, so be warned XD![]()

So I have this weapon called "Yveltal", basically it's a "sentient weapon" from one of my main characters. What is this thing's history or lore?

1. Chekov's gun (チェコブズ・ガン )
- A physical manifestation of a concept of the same name in the form of a gun, specifically the six-shot Nagant M1895 revolver to be held by my protagonist, Kibe Takayuki. It allows set-ups to shoot prematurely (e.g. bullets by the table not loaded in the gun can be shot by the gun instantly, falling objects about to hit the ground). If you know this concept, that should explain it.
2. Copyright and Strike (コピライト・アンド・ストライク)
- A physical manifestation of a concept by the same name, in the form of a katana. It undergoes two processes, Copyright, and then Strike. Copyright judges if said thing, be it matter, power, or anything from another story and if it passes, it moves to the next process. Strike, is the punishment on how grand the borrowed thing is, it scales in magnitude. Technically, it punishes references from another story.
One of my stories has a bird nation, and there is a rare bird native to that place called a Bacaw. Named for the noise it makes “Bacaw!” Seeing them is supposed to be good luck to the natives, but they developed a unique way of hunting.
Bacaws are fat birds who use Earth magic. To hunt large predators they incase their selves in rock, becoming a bird boulder. Then they plummet on top of the unsuspecting creature.
They aren't hostile to people though, and they generally leave them alone.
Divining Tool
It was a small box with rounded edges, sort of like a jewelry box. There was a wrist strap attached to a corner, made of the same material as the felt covering the box. It was rather comfortable to hold. Opening it, I found a small crystal orb filled with liquid. Minute flecks of metal floated inside the orb. More strikingly, the entire inside of the case was covered in tiny runes, three of which were currently glowing.
Spidersilk Casual Wear
The sweater was long, both in the sleeve and at the hem. The leggings were a loose fit and had six pockets - like real pockets, that I could actually fit my hand in. Honestly, they were jeans, but it felt weird to call something not made of denim 'jeans'. The boots were made with thick slabs of laminated silk to make them more durable. All of it was undyed, with a slightly ethereal look despite not being transparent. Apparently a natural trait of Arachne silk, to make it harder to see their webs. The enchantments made it occasionally pulse with faint green and gold ribbons of light.
A few heavily enchanted styluses and a wand that could create walls of stone being the highlights. I actually forgot about these. They're kinda neat.
Ritual SpellBook:
Magic seal on the back that locks the book unless you have the password and the "key".
The cover is decorated with vines wrapped around Flowing Water.
The "First" page of the book is a table of contents. This is only a list of things that might be found in the book, page numbers are not actually listed. The page the reader wants will appear when they turn the page, just as a bag of holding will offer the desired item."Arcane Studies and Rituals"
"Personal Records" (Contains Journal Entries and Personal thoughts on Common interactions)
"Strategies and Tactics"
"Cartography and Architecture"
"Encyclopedia of Arcane Items"
"Creatures and Beasts"
Entries are written in multiple languages, both as a cipher and so she can keep her writing skills sharp.
Common, For General journal entries. Events that anyone in the party might know about.
Infernal, For Spellwork based on her fiendish nature.
Elvish, For comments on a personal level, basically for diary entries.
Abyssal, For comments about her fiendish nature.

Draconic, For Arcane spellwork.
Sil's Reliquary
While worn, immune to psychic damage, effects that sense emotions, discern lies, read thoughts, know types or alignments, divination magic, the charmed condition, and you cannot be perceived by magical sensors. No effect can surpass this, not even wishes or similarly powerful spells.
x2 For an arachne and a lamia
An armlet that temporarily gives one a more humanoid form.
Merfolk's Greaves
Every paladin is given a unique high quality magic item, greaves that can change shape along with the merfolk wearing them. This allows them to fight well guarded on land and in the deep.
Lastly, the blackguard has a sword that cannot harm good-aligned foes. It detects the presence of good (or neutral?) people and creates a barrier around the blade to prevent it from cutting. The wielder has no way of knowing whether the blade will cut until they make the attack, but afterwards has to adapt to the result.
