As a Method writer myself, yeah I like my protagonist, as they usually carry a little bit of myself in them, male or female.
Aww, that's an interesting thought ?I thought my mc would be my favorite but I've found that my favorites to write are always the random side characters with massive plot points or the secondary main character. I assume this is because I write from the lense of the mc rather than the reader.
Oh, wow, that actually a pretty cool method for writing, I feel like it might be kind of draining thoughI'm a method writer, so I often end up 'acting' like my protag. Hence, I have to like him.
Advantage is, I can easily write his thought process in my works.
You won't be drained if it has become part of your personality...unless, of course, you did a character with a severe case of chuunibyou.Oh, wow, that actually a pretty cool method for writing, I feel like it might be kind of draining though
