Imagine having that one shot in gaining supernatural power you've always wanted to fulfill your fantasies of being that "secretive brooding kid in class with a dark secret" but instead of a cool looking Lupin you turn into a canine Teletubby.

werewolf: a mix of human and wolf that is a struggle by nature, the need to eat, hunt, and live with the constant need and desire to kill and consume, bathing in blood while your human mind suffers the beast and holds it at bay.
some choose the path of the human, and they suffer for it, they can never let the beast go, or their loved ones would simply die, and they would be hunted down as the monster that they are trying to hold in.
The curse of the best is hard to contain.
Some choose the path of the wolf, they forsook their humanity, why should they protect the ignorant unwashed filth of the planet? when they could be expected to be stabbed in the back with a pitchfork by some smelly peasant that does not know the meaning of cleaning their bodies.
To bathe in blood, eating of the flesh and the thrill of the hunt truly is a glorious feeling.
