Is it me or does everyone put on a song for the mood of the book

I don't necessarily mind music in the background but usually, I wouldn't go out of my way to search for it. If I have some on, it can't be too loud either or it is too much of a distraction.

No, like, do you arrive at a section of the book where it's sad, joyous, angry, etc. vibe, stop reading, open whatever music app and put on the song for the occasion, go back to the chapter you were reading, and then continue on?
no but when I have everything planned out for a part, I am writing, I make the right tempo and get a song that is more moody.

Ohhh!!!! So you were talking about when you are writing. I thought you were talking about putting on music when you are reading some book. That makes more sense. When you are writing, you know what you are going to add to the story so you can plan for it, but when in case of reading, you can't plan a song for the moment if you haven't read ahead already.
