I was about to read this whole thread before seeing that it's at 19 pages. Nope.

This thread gave me the final push to make that gender-bent raging misogynist I hinted at months ago.
You don't need to read the thread. I can summarize it for you. Sailus made me ghost write his replies again.

I don't read BL or GL, but if dragons are included I would read a GB... if it's not porn.
Let's say there's a GB story with dragons in it.

The MC is a dude who got genderbent into a woman. No porn, but still a romance. Do you think he/she should chase men or still women now?

The dragons are sleeping in their caves btw.

She should go after men. That would be the correct choice. I could understand issues adjusting to it, though. Over time it would get resolved.
This thread has become like Prince. How long will this dragon?
I am such a dragon.

I read the first 6 pages because the memes started hard there. I think the confusion came about when people started to add "premise" and "genre" to the tag that was being discussed.

Honestly I think aesthetically he'd be drawn to women unless he was gay or bi beforehand, but biologically he'd be drawn to men (again, unless gay or bi beforehand) - and if bisexual, he'd likely prefer the opposite gender but still like both.
Ok, hold on. Maybe some misunderstanding on my part. By definition i suppose they are apocryphal, but gnostic books are not a part of the Apocrypha, a set of books the Roman Catholic church recognizes.
Roughly
Apocrypha is apocryphal old testament.
Gnostic is apocryphal new testament text.
That tracks with how they were set up at dad's library, but not how the critic reviewing the books about a week before my dad got a copy in saw it - and I've never dug deeper into it.

woah... what a statement.
Just for reference are you homophobic? I want to talk about this opinion but I can't really tell if you are okay with people not being straight.

Are you basing it in an isekai situation? Like let's say for a native to this fantasy world, when he got genderbent, should she keep loving women because her 'correct' sex was male?

Since you at least believe in a certain case a genderbent person should change their sexuality accordingly, so like in your view, is sexuality hard-coded to the circumstance you came into being into the world? Irl it would be birth, while isekai it would be the magical male-to-female (usually never explained) at the arrival?

I don't believe in people having the wrong body. The mind can be corrected. This is an issue purely introduced by fantasy so there isn't really a true correct answer.

The way someone practices sexuality is a choice. That's a rough summary of my thoughts on it.

oh yeah I also have a question that I meant to ask.
@Prince_Azmiran_Myrian A person assigned male at birth, let us assume the are perfectly average. What is your opinion and thoughts on the following situation.

The parents of this child decide to have the foreskin removed in a circumcision. I don't think the reason is relevant to the hypothetical, but let us say it is due to the parents having a history of harmful infections.

Regardless, in the circumcision an accident happened and the penis was destroyed. The parents in this situation then choose, with the doctor to instead remove the penis and preform a vaginoplasty. Changing the sexual organ to appear as it would for a standard woman. (I think you'll complain about the child not having a choice and overreach by the parents? I agree, but that isn't the focus here.)

The parents never tell this child that they were born male. What do you think this child will grow up as. They are go through the same estrogen based puberty as cis women. In this case does the person have the wrong body or should the mind be corrected due to being raised female.

You do understand prince is going easy on you? He can always use his trump card, "God will correct everything." And there's nothing you can do to counter it. ?

Bodily mutilation doesn't change someones sex. This person was subjected to further abuse after a horrible accident.
They would go through male puberty unless put on hormones and puberty blockers wouldn't they?

Are you in need of correction, Princess? ?

No need to go on blockers without a penis, but yes they need hormones

I feel like @Omni's example is a little extreme.

The more common situation is you have an intersex child and their genitalia is very ambiguous.

The parents are asked what they want to do with it.

The surgeon explains that the best time to do a surgery is as a baby, because when they become an adult it's significantly more risky to do a surgery in that area and has a much higher complication rate.
