Another question for ya all, oh kind people.
It's just, ehem, a silly private question from me but...
.
1. Could anyone tell me How much it's worth for each advanced story' ? Emmm to be exact, how much expected $ per how many words?
.
2. How much it would cost to pay an editor, proofrading, and artist for your story?
.
3. How to make my own exclusive-advanced-story- system'?
.
4. Is reupload my story' in other site would be worth if my goal was to getting some irl money?
.
5. Is it worth to being serious and spend my time on this?
.
Idk how can I put all of this in practice. It was already more or less 3 years since I begin to write. Well, most of my beginning stories' are deleted tough.
.
At this moment, I do want to solve my own thirst of knowledge. I asked for your understanding.

how much you charge for advanced stories totally depends on you
i have seen people charging from $1 to $5 for two advanced chapters.
For example i charge $1 on patreon but my motive was to get as many readers to become patrons. some prefer to have less patrons at greater price.

And different editors charge differently with rates based on per k words. you should check on fiverr with their rating which are good.
upload story on Royal road. you should not be afraid to share your story.
And no its not worth being serious if only money is own writer's mind, unless you also have the passion to tell your stories to others.
Because otherwise you will burn out in the middle.
Well, most of the facts you would have already known.
hope it helps.

At this moment, I do want to solve my own thirst of knowledge. I asked for your understanding.

My recommendation would be to look up some highly successful self-funded authors.

The standard seems to be around 20 advanced chapters at around 2k words per chapter at a rate of 5$ or 10$ for the 20. Some do as few as 10 for 10$ at 4K words per chapter, but even in that case you need to have some really high quality writing.

As for the idea of making your own platform, that's some serious work and not something I have the answer to.

How much it would cost to pay an editor runs from 100$ per 80k word book to 100$ per 2k words, depending on level and quality of editing work.

Posting to other sites is ALWAYS a good idea if you're looking to get exposure. Exposure is everything if you're looking to make money. (Just so long as you are not selling normally paid services for exposure. Don't fall for that scam.)

Whether or not it's worth being serious about it, that's not something I can answer for you. That's entirely on you. The question is whether or not your work is worth the attention of your readers to a point that they would pay for it. For 90% of people, sadly, the answer to that is actually going to be "no."

(Personally, I'd recommend waiting until you hit at least "well-known author" status in your profile for your work, if not straight up "famous author." I've hit "famous author," and the amount I make is not even enough to be considered pocket change. I just earn enough to commission a few things to improve my stories with, paying artists to do better covers and things like that.)

Most important thing to note would be to do your own research by participating in the market yourself. As a buyer, go out to some stories you would be interested in supporting, and see what prices are worth it for you to pay for how many chapters. What you're willing to pay is a good indication of what others will be willing to pay you for your own work.

Editors cost big bucks, but they'll also have you rewrite your book to suit their ideas. It's a bad idea.
Darkie has a lot experience with retarded authors, who complain about the change of at least 3 spelling mistakes

1. Could anyone tell me How much it's worth for each advanced story' ? Emmm to be exact, how much expected $ per how many words?
Uh. I ghost write. I charge 6 cents a word. Unless I hate the job, then I double it. Then I kick myself when some agrees to my outrageous price and lament all the free time I just lost. But yeah. On Fiver you can usually get 1000 words for 5 bucks. Sometimes 2000 words for 5 bucks. That's 4 words a penny.

If you have too many projects, Like I used to have, a long time ago, but you have time, you go on fiver and ask for whatever you have been asked to write and offer .25 cents a word on the same topic. There are desperate people who will take it. Tell them the absolute deadline and offer .33 cents a word if they finish a week early.

Basically, subcontracting.

So I got four books 'written', rather crappily I might add. (You get what you pay for), then I spent the remaining time I had to finish the four projects by rewriting the 4 stories I had gotten.

However, only do this when you have been doing ghost writing for a while and have a stable of clients. That takes TIME. I don't even know how to get back in the field, honestly. If I hadn't gotten a call out of the blue, I wouldn't be in my current mess.

2. How much it would cost to pay an editor, proofrading, and artist for your story?
I have a wife. I pay her nothing. Well. I pay for the house, her clothes, her food, and all her medical needs, but I would have done that anyways. Perks she has for sleeping with the boss.

3. How to make my own exclusive-advanced-story- system'?
I have no idea what that is.

4. Is reupload my story' in other site would be worth if my goal was to getting some irl money?
If you are writing off the story as 'free advertisement', then sure.

You can make money selling your books to readers, or selling your books to someone else to sell. Does Re-upload help you? Depends on your situation. You decide.

5. Is it worth to being serious and spend my time on this?
No. Not at all. Nope. Seriously. The chances you will make money at this is almost Nil. I have been doing this crap for decades. In the past four years I got exactly one paying job. I have pimped myself out a few places for perks and beanies, but the only serious job I've had in a long time is the one I have right now.

Before that, was I making money? Sure, but my market had dried up and I was only getting calls to make porn. And... disgusting porn at that. I thought to myself, "I can write anything." Well, I have a half finished smut book about a guy who travels back in time to relive his childhood, becoming a grown man in the body of a 16 yo, and seduces his priest... AND THEN THE REQUEST FROM THE CLIENT WENT TOO FAR.

This is a job, like any other job. It requires time and effort for you, and since you are working for yourself, in a world full of writers willing to work FAR CHEAPER than you, you will have to do some things, if you wish to make money at this, that will push the limits of your morality. That's just how the industry is right now. If you are honest, upstanding, moral person, GIVE UP ANY DREAM OF MAKING THIS A CAREER.

If, however, the idea of child porn doesn't make you want to vomit, and you truly don't care what you write, as long as you get paid, there are people out there who will throw money at you just so they can have their personal perversion placed upon a page for them to read, and they don't care how much it costs. You can find paying work, as long as you are willing to risk nightmares and do the work nobody else would.

There is a reason Garbagemen get paid so much money to take away your trash.

I get paid an insane amount of money by the hour, and X2.5 an hour for overtime, because my job involves being attacked by the clients, having to sit next to someone who screams for no reason for 14 hours straight, and I have to wipe the asses of people who cannot wipe their own ass. Plus we deal with infectious diseases that might kill you, so having a healthy immune system is also required.

The worst jobs nobody would do often pay the most.

It is the same thing when it comes to writing for money.

Idk how can I put all of this in practice. It was already more or less 3 years since I begin to write. Well, most of my beginning stories' are deleted tough.
Are you writing for a profit? Don't.
Are you writing because you enjoy it and it makes you a better person? Do it.

Look. I highly recommend writing to people, if you are willing to take it seriously, because you grow as a person. If you want to write WELL, you must study many different topics. Hell, I know more about COVID than the nurses here. I know more about Quantum Gravity than the engineers around here. I know more about the economy than the CFO of where I work. I know all this because I wanted to get the writing correct.

The dirty secret is, 50% of this is writing. 50% is research, or stealing ideas from someone else.

At this moment, I do want to solve my own thirst of knowledge. I asked for your understanding.
Okay. I understand.
