The invention of choose your adventure books is a milestone. It thinned out the line between books and games and made reading it again and again much more enjoyable. While now there are many, the person who took a risk of choosing dynamics over details and to use present tense over past tense was a genius.


So....can we do better? I am talking about a simple innovation. Imagine you have infinite time, infinite money and dumb audience who will read anything. Don't care about how it will become a book or whether it is profitable or not. Just write down any service or app you greatly enjoy and would like to see in book form.
PS: No need to apply common sense. Just write whatever comes to your mind. Eg. That I have thinked

Oh it's a thing already? Now that I read the original post suddenly things make sense.

I guess the another thing is less related to books, and more to games (but could too be adapted to books). Which would be where the actions of the players in MMORPGs actually influences the storyline. The players write the story, rather than play through it.
But I guess we got to wait for actual AI to be invented first. Chances might be better with Truck-kun.

an app for all the dialects in the world (not just the official/major language but many smaller, lesser-known ones too) and you can sort them by country. probably some exist, but there's most cover the major known ones.
