What is your opinions on Incest in stories?

I want to introduce it in my latest story, Bonnie's Full Moon Blues!
Keep in mind, both characters are 18 and 19 respectfully, thus within age of consent...

Well, what a question. But frankly, I don't care. Can be hot, it's a fantasy, usually in psychological or smut stories. The trope itself is based on the simplicity of "forbidden romance". Nothing new, nothing special, but you have to make it work.
Edit, for the mentioned Genres: I mean, you either make it a fantasy and just write it as a tropey smut story, or it's a psychologically heavy story - if not both. If it's neither, the topic is likely not well-incorporated.

In reality, I don't even care about it in real life. I had a friend who used to equate incest immediately with rape or assault, which has nothing to do with it; it's something entirely separate. Incest itself, to me, is the most non-problem to ever non-problem. They probably shouldn't have children, but aside from that, genes aren't necessarily visible and people may look alike without being blood related at all.
In the end, if it's mutually consensual, I really care not. I may not be interested in my siblings and couldn't imagine to be interested in them, but there's quite a lot of things I don't need to like for others to like them. :blob_cookie:
Add-On for the "sad" reaction, whatever it's meant to tell me: In the end, most "blood-related" people don't even look alike; you wouldn't know, if they didn't tell you, and what are you going to do? Go and shame them for making a decision you dislike? It's not like they actually hurt anyone. And in stories, when people aren't real, and nobody gets in societal trouble, I care even less.

As long as you don't show it happening, just imply or even flat-out state that it did (this is one time "Tell Don't Show" is a good idea), you should be fine. Game of Thrones gave a decent template to follow for this.
Then again, the Howard Families of Heinlein's Future History stories were pretty big on this (Genetic Miscibility was less important than longevity but more important than disease resistance... and the combination produced Woodrow Wilson Smith, aka Lazarus Long), and he did some showing, just not a lot (Time Enough For Love would probably be NC-17, as would To Sail Beyond the Sunset and many of the other stories with him or his mother Maureen, like The Cat Who Walked Through Walls) ...

Thanks, i'll take what you told me into consideration!

It's fiction, so I don't care. There are plenty of things I don't like, but don't care if people include them in fiction.
