Is it possible to somehow do embeds inside of story content? For instance, embedding a music track/player so you can like, have various 'bgm' for certain things that people can optionally play? Or embedding a youtube video to play in-page or as a pop-out?

I assume not, but it did leave me curious. I was able to put a link to a bgm at least but outside of that wasn't sure.

direct embeds isn't possible, the best you could do is make a link to the specific video, music, or images

I don't know if most people would want to hear a BGM while reading. I, for one, would click off instantly. If such a function were ever implemented somewhere, I'd first poll the reader base to see if they would be fine with it or not.

Webtoons have it as a feature for some of their manhwas, such as hero has returned(the warrior returns), they do however turn it off by default and let you know with the music symbol next to the chapter. Definitely niche as a feature as most audiobooks don't even come with ambient noise instead just choosing to use the voice itself as the setter of ambience and mood.

Personally it just sounds like something nice to have but not required and definitely has to require limitations on how an author can implement.

I did mention it was meant to be optional, Yes, if it was even available as an option.

as a option it would be good, like in the text you click and the music starts and when the author in the text put the option to turn off.
