The fact that this has derailed from helping the op find the word to arguing about the language...feels some slight hijack.

Now that I think about it, I think nowadays women would get called as players too now if they had multiple romantic partners. In a more equal balance way then before in terms of words referring to them.

But for like polygamy idk have to look up. Sounds like something @K5Rakitan might know?

Thu idk about it since you mention polygamy, esp with Yuri. Interesting Thu, probably there's world for it.but since polygamy sounds like agreement to have multiple partners so maybe not a 'player' then which from what I feel is more about people chasing a relationship a time with that person and then going on to the next. Not great with extra vocab words here so just maybe someone will know better.

I'm not aware of a word like that, so perhaps it's time to invent one! All words, all parts of our culture were once an idea someone came up with. Perhaps you'll find some inspiration in this list of recently invented words and phrases:
