People copy off novels all the time and look at the hundreds of aggregator sites.

It is undeniable that the home of cultivation novels, China, Qid, is the mammoth publisher. They are part of Shanda Literature Limited who owned the three largest literature sites and publishers in China in around 2008-2010. Somewhere around there. My dood, 99% of cultivation novels that RWX and the rest started to translate in the heydays of Wuxiaworld, were all from Qidian. And I mean the heydays, not when it became so big that they began officially licensing them and branching out to Korean novels.

What is outrageous is not that they don't care if someone uploads someone else's novels (if you complain, it usually gets taken down) but from offering contracts that lawfully take your IP from you forever.
