Edit: Okay this thread strayed way too far away from its original motive, so I think it'd be best to just remove it since some people can't get it and unintentionally the thread might also motivate some guys to do it?

If they have a legal contract saying they're the only ones who are allowed to host that story, and SH refuses to take it down, WN will be able to sue them. And if you think SH won't track your IP address to tell WN that you're breaking you're breaking your own contract with them...then I'm a Nigerian prince and I want to give you ten million dollars. Just send me your SSN and bank information.

What if you get exclusively contracted by webnovel(qidian international -_-) and then you come to scribblehub and make a different pen name account and start uploading your novel chapters!
Yeah, but why tho?

I don't get what you're asking. Of course you can pirate your novel, but you run the risk of being caught and punished through whatever webnovel has in their contract.

Webnovel doesn't really sue you, they just remove you and your account from their site and that's what their 'legal action' pretty much always means.
What about a vpn?
Yeah, but why tho?
Just my innocent little curiosity and that's all :blob_melt:

You'll be a nigerian prince if the author actually does that using his neighbour's device or his/her girlfriend/boyfriend, grand mother-father, friend's device who share different IP address?

Gimme that 10M bucks now!
I got an idea!

Lil bro thinks we won't find him and report him.
Don't think you can cheat the system.
Write a new novel if you want patreon money.
If you want to earn money writing then put effort into it instead of trying to maximize profits from your first ever novel that is already contracted in webnovel... By doing something incredibly retarded.
Unless you dont care anymore about Webnovel and just want them to suspend your book? I guess you can do it if that's what you want.

If you’re going to seriously do it, do it with a flip and wonder why on earth you did it.

They can't remove or shadowban your book for that, right? Coz it can be a plagiarist, so why bothering the real author.

Also, if I open a scribblehub account using an exclusive contracted author's name and start uploading his exclusive contracted novel in scribblehub and then send a link of it to webnovel and say that the guy is posting his novels in other sites too even tho he's exclusively contracted?

(Please don't shower the morals or ethics education here?, it's a 'what if' and I don't intend to ever do anything like that....)
If for some insane reason you wish to go through with something like this. 1. Hire someone to do it for you. 2. Make sure the story is posted to as many legit and pirate sites as possible. Even if it means MTLing it into Portuguese, Bantu, and Laotian. 3. Finally never involve money making in the scheme. Just pay the folk who are scanning your stuff. Better yet find someone to pay that person to scan your work. 4. Make sure you are not caught. Get a burner phone, use it to create the account(s) that is doing all this copying, make sure to only use public Wi-Fi at least 30 miles away from your place of residence, and never use a name/username that can be traced back to you.

Bonus step. In between 1 and 2 have the middle man translate your story into Chinese, then back to English to slightly shake off plagiarism checkers.

If you do all this then other sites will be posting your story, and if the size is big enough, it might allow your story a reasonable amount of time here on the site.

Pretty sure breaking laws is also against forum rules on scribble hub, so you shouldn't even make this thread either.

exclusive sites have to be aggressive to keep their exclusivity. they will contact sh or make some type of legal request. If you steal a successful novel from another site under a different name, his readers will find you and report you eventaully.

there is no profit here unless this is automated and mass produced(under a shady domain service), like how aggregator sites do it, and I doubt you are techincally literate to get that done. there is no loophole you can exploit here.
