I always wondered why more writers don't write about the absolute body horror that could occur with an evil healer.

I think most people just don't think it through. Removing infections and cleansing wounds is killing, then you have the obvious increase in cell reproduction that is normal healing. Flip it around and you can cause necrosis and cancer. If you can do painkilling, then you can also stop hearts. Plus good luck stopping a skilled healer if they can keep their head safe.

I disagree. Being a healer to help people is great, but you have to be prepared for people trying to exploit you, and no matter what you do, you will piss someone off. Better to be able to stop someone trying to murder you and not need to than need to and not be able to.

I would personally be a brawler (No set weapon), or a speed focused gunslinger with shotgun (Finally my hobbies will be of use! Smithing.)

i would be an alchemist/scout/archer using bow and steath to fight at a distance and using potions to get utility smoke bomb, invisibilty, spider climbing etc. and booby trap the fuck where i live so no one fuck with me. just like the crazy dude in underrail
