I was thinking about this question and concluded I’d rather be reborn in a nice fantasy world with some cheats. I’m curious what other people think about it.
Granted. You go to the new world without cheats and are born as the majority of the population that can't utilize their mana like the gifted can.I don't even need cheats. My basic understanding of science paired with magic would make me overpowered
But I can still learn my own ways aroundGranted. You go to the new world without cheats and are born as the majority of the population that can't utilize their mana like the gifted can.
I don't even care for cheats, just give me a world where everyone has equivalent opportunity to improve.
Everyone becomes rocks and we collectively compete in a reverse staring contest. Whoever blinks first wins.. How though? If everyone have same opportunity so the starting point should be same? But then what if the parent is one lazy then it is not equal to other that have rich parent. If you have same opportunity but at different age is that even an equal? And even if the world have equal opportunity, is it will change how someone become? Like okay you do have opportunity to became a doctor, let say person A, he is someone that have interest in medicine because he have a family that died because incurable disease, then there is person B, she is have interest in achitecture because it is her family work. At some point but is invited to attend prestigious medical university, is that equal opportunity?
That's why it's a fantasy world. Easiest option would be for everyone to have a system. How though? If everyone have same opportunity so the starting point should be same?
