Ideal length for chapters

In my opinion, it depends on the format you're writing in.
If you're writing Webnovel / LitRPG style, a rapid cadence of paragraphs and chapters seems more on pace.
However, to me, a true novel of 100,000 to 200,000 words would be better presented in chapters of 2500 to 5000 words and would settle into an immersive atmosphere.
The Devil is in the details.

1.5-2.5k is the general consensus for optimal length of a webnovel chapter on this site. Anything under 1k sacrifices too much quality for quantity and might have higher initial traffic, but lower reader retention, while if you go above this range, you start losing readers who do not have time or attention span for it.
And there's also the valid argument of not forcing a specific length by inflating your word count or cutting the chapter up, but rather ending the chapter where it feels natural.

Penholders have no gender.
Most penholders have a hole, and at least while used, they have a kind of a shaft. So you could say penholders are futas.
